Carla Edwards is President of System Savvy, Inc., a firm she founded in February of 1998, specializing in web development, graphic design, database development and consulting. System Savvy, Inc. (SSI) has developed well over 100 quality web sites with highly professional, crisp, data-driven sites as its trademark. SSI’s client base includes a full range of businesses as well as faith-based organizations from coast to coast.

 As a result of a commitment to quality, ongoing skills development and focus on business results, System Savvy maintains a high client retention rate and has received several awards in recognition of business excellence and innovation. 

 Edwards is also an experienced web consultant, providing online marketing plans, content plans, content development and automation strategies for her clients.  Edwards’ web savvy is relied upon by a wide variety of faith-based clients including a church with over 25,000 members, and a regional organization supporting more than 600 member churches.

 Prior to System Savvy, Edwards was Vice President of Strategic Operations and Technology for Atlanta Franchise Development Company, a franchisee of 100 quick service restaurants.  From 1994 through 1996, Edwards served as the Director of Business Technology for AFC Enterprises, establishing the business technology department for Churchs Chicken. She had previously developed the information systems audit function for AFC Enterprises and prior to 1992, her roles included Multi-unit Supervisor and Concept Development Manager. Edwards has over 20 years of combined experience in concept development, information systems, strategic planning and project management.

 The recipient of a Shell Foundation scholarship, Edwards attended Tulane University in New Orleans, majoring in engineering. She is a Microsoft Certified Professional, achieving certificates in software, website and database development.

 Ms. Edwards has been a speaker or panelist for numerous business and technology conferences and forums such as the SBA, SCORE, the Magic Johnson Business Success Seminar Series, anchored the Rolling Out Entrepreneurial Success Series, and has also provided expert advice and interviews on Atlanta radio stations such as WATB and WAOK.
